As we’ve seen in Indiana, Arkansas, and even right here in Iowa, when men and women stand for religious liberty, progressives are quick to cry, “Discrimination!”
But Iowa State Rep. Steven Holt, R-Denison, isn’t willing to surrender the debate to a buzzword.
Before the Iowa House on April 13, Holt explained with unusual clarity the issue isn’t about discrimination, but about participation – and whether the law and the courts should force citizens to participate in activities that violate their conscience.
