The FAMiLY Leader Capitol Team worked on several bills this week – including fighting to stop gambling expansion and working to stop gender indoctrination without parental consent in elementary school – but the big news is an exciting, new bill that could bless thousands of women and children across the state.
This new bill was introduced to help women facing crisis pregnancies both before and after birth. Smartly connecting modern technology, government funding, and tangible help for new and/or expecting moms, the Abortion Alternatives Act has saved thousands of lives in Texas, and discussions are underway to bring a similar program to Iowa.
