Daniel Sunne, Policy Liaison, The FAMiLY Leader
A native Iowan, Daniel grew up in Backbone State Park in Northeast Iowa. His fascination with government led him to study politics at Hillsdale College in Michigan and intern for Sen. Chuck Grassley in Washington, D.C. After graduation, Daniel returned to Iowa to work as political director for Congressman Rod Blum’s successful reelection campaign in 2016. He is excited to work at the intersection of two of his passions, Christian faith and politics, recognizing their separate functions and their unique relationship.
Daniel attends Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in West Des Moines, plays frisbee as often as he can, and is currently reading several books.
