Katie LaFollette, Administrative Assistant, The FAMiLY LEADER
Katie LaFollette, a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center, lives in West Des Moines with her husband, Tyler.
Katie enjoys kayaking, spending time with her friends and family, and being involved in activities at Cornerstone Family Church.
Prior to TFL, Katie worked for a real estate brokerage as an administrative assistant and then got involved in real estate abstracting from 2015-2018. Yet she knew she wanted to be more involved in ministry.
Shortly after a conference at which she was assured God would help her through a difficult job transition, Katie was let go from her position, only to have her mother discover an email that TFL was hiring. Katie started at TFL in January 2019 and now feels she is where she is called to be.
“I love the atmosphere; it’s very peaceful,” Katie says. “It’s like no other job. I love coming to work and praying with other believers and talking about God and the kingdom.”
Favorite Bible verse: Psalms 55:22 – “Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.”
