Join The FAMiLY LEADER internship team!

The FAMiLY LEADER offers an internship program for students who desire to be a part of bringing the light of Scripture to the civic arena. Internship tracks are available in legislative, events, research, and more. Internships are offered January-May, May-August, and September-December, but dates are flexible to accommodate special scheduling needs.

TFL-Interns---chuckEach intern at The FAMiLY LEADER participates in a program called “Standing Strong: Defending a Christian Worldview in Public Policy.” Topics covered include life, human sexuality, religious liberty, education, economics, and more. Interns participate in simulations to practice working through the scriptural and practical challenges in each policy area. Simulations include television interviews, legislative hearings, city council meetings, and more. There is open discussion on the toughest issues of the day. If you are interested in the civic arena and want to be challenged in your thinking, then this is a great opportunity.

Our goal is that interns will leave with a deeper understanding of the importance of Scripture in public policy and will be better equipped to share the gospel in the civic arena.

If you are interested in being a part of the TFL internship team, please contact Dr. Nathan Oppman at [email protected] with the following items: application, resume/CV, cover letter, references, and a brief essay on the following three questions:

What are the significant books you have read?

What are the most important policy issues affecting America today?

What do you hope to receive from an internship at The FAMiLY LEADER?
